Countdown to TNA Unbreakable

The title for this pay-per-view, "Unbreakable", is somewhat ironic,
since it seems like something's going to give here.
The card features some short, yet well developed feuds that build off history
from within TNA, as well as outside the realm of Orlando, Florida. There's plenty
of action to be expected in the card, so let's take a look at what we can expect
from TNA Unbreakable.

NWA HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH

Bob Kapur
TNA has done some great stuff with cruiserweights, making the WWE's division
seem pale by comparison. And now they're doing the same thing with hardcore
wrestling with guys like these on top. This one will be magnificently violent,
with tables and chairs a-plenty. I don't see either of these guys as TV-friendly
enough to keep the belt long after they debut on Spike TV, so it doesn't make
sense to have Rhino win it now just to drop it in short order. Raven keeps the
belt for now, and will start feuding with the soon-to-be returning Kevin Nash.

Raven will keep the title, but I don't really think it'll be a totally clean
finish. There will be some sort of outside interference that will keep this
feud brewing a while longer.
Corey David Lacroix
Wow, that was quick. Having only debuted two PPVs ago, Rhino already has his
shot at championship gold. This is as good as it gets when it comes to Rhino
proving he is a main stage player, and in doing so, extends the middle finger
salute to WWE. To say the least, Raven will have his hands full and will need
to fall back on his years of experience to out-think his opponent. Of course,
he also count on an unlikely ally in the form of Jeff Jarrett. Rest assured,
good ole' Double J will make his presence known if it appears that Rhino is
going to take the belt. That said, it'll be Raven who retains.
Chris Sokol
With Rhino on a roll and Spike TV rapidly approaching, this match has alot riding
on it. It appears, howver, as though Rhino will be walking away with his hand
and the gold held high, thus starting a feud with Jeff Jarrett or Jeff Hardy.
Either way, "The Man Beast" will be the new, NWA World Heavyweight
Champion.

X-DIVISION TITLE MATCH
AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe vs. Christopher Daniels

SLAM! Predictions
Bob Kapur
Put Daniels and Styles in the same ring together and you're virtually guaranteed
a great match. Add Joe into the mix, and things can only get better. This one
will be a definite highlight, and maybe reason enough to order the PPV. Booking
a lengthy title reign by Joe has already proven to be a success - see his Ring
of Honor days for proof - and I think they'll duplicate that formula with a
win by the big man.

Just about anybody will predict this as the match of the night; but is it time
to take the belt off Daniels? No, not yet. Go strong to Spike, young TNA. Resist
the urge to switch the belts around. Have your champs have credibility.
Corey David Lacroix
Drool, drool and drool some more - God I can't wait! This one has match of the
year all over it with three guys who can deliver, pressure and all. I am almost
willing to see this match held over past TNA's debut on Spike, simply because
a match like this can win over so many new fans who have never see any of these
three great athletes in action. As for the outcome... it's even odds for all
three to take the gold, but since I gotta make a pick, I'll say Styles.

With talks of Jushin "Thunder" Liger entering the promotion, coupled
with the fact that he has been placed in the Cruiserweight Division, it is likely
that whoever gets defeated in this bout will face the Japanese legend at Bound
For Glory. Expect to see Daniels defeat AJ Styles.

Bob Kapur
Sean Waltman has been fantastic since his return to full-time action, and Alex
Shelley is poised for great things in the very near future. A run with the tag
titles would be a good way to showcase their respective abilities before ultimately
spinning them off into further singles action. Not to mention it would help
shake up the tag team division a bit, which seems to have revolved around the
other three teams for years now.

The teams are all pretty interchangeable, and always deliver good matches. I
say the belts will switch to AMW for about the billionth time.
Corey David Lacroix
Way too many teams for a match where the Tag Titles are on the line, but that's
just the traditionalist in me speaking up. Fact is, this has the potential to
be a very good match for all four teams. AMW and The Naturals have been at each
other and that may cause them to lose focus in this one. I'm a little disappointed
we're not seeing a follow-up to Waltman and Lynn's match from the last PPV and
I just don't see Shelley & Waltman taking this one. I guess that means the
belts are coming back to The Great White North.
Chris Sokol
The best team in the entire tournament indeed won, but will not see gold together
just yet. AMW and Team Canada have played continual "Title Change Tag"
so to say, so you can count them out. The Naturals will retain in the process
of setting up a match with Shelly and Waltman at Bound For Glory.

Bob Kapur
Sabu vs. Abyss: They should bring Fonzie back to counter Mitchell's ringside
influence. Either way, Sabu wins in homicidal, genocidal, suicidal fashion.
Bobby Roode vs. Jeff Hardy: Bobby Roode takes the mantle from Lance Hoyt and
becomes the next guy to get a major push - his first step is to dispatch of
Hardy.
Greg Oliver
Sabu vs. Abyss: Oooh. Think Sabu will job? That's the logical step. Double DQ.
Bobby Roode vs. Jeff Hardy: Roode is being groomed for bigger things. Roode
goes over.
Corey David Lacroix
Sabu vs. Abyss: "Bloodthirsty" Bob is gonna be in hardcore heaven
with this one. Abyss takes it.
Bobby Roode vs. Jeff Hardy: Long overdue for Roode to break away from Team Canada
and become a player in singles competition - Roode taks this one.
Chris Sokol
Sabu vs. Abyss: Will be match of the night, Sabu wins with The Arabian Face
Buster...or something of that nature.
Bobby Roode vs. Jeff Hardy: When Spike TV rolls around, Hardy will be in the
Heavyweight Title scene, so expect him to win here.
