Hardcore Homecoming adds five more for reunion show
By JON WALDMAN -- SLAM! Wrestling
Five more names have been added to the roster for the upcoming Hardcore Homecoming independent show, including two former ECW World Heavyweight Champions.
Among those announced today through the Hardcore Homecoming e-newsletter were Sandman and Justin Credible. Sandman, who held the belt on five different occasions, is one of the most recognizeable faces in ECW's history. Credible, who was a WWF castaway after a failed run as Aldo Montoya, became a tag-team star alongside Lance Storm before breaking out on his own and holdint the top title in ECW for over six months.
Both men have competed for TNA since its debut nearly three years ago.
The e-newsletter also noted three other participants, including Bill Alfonso, Francine and Kid Kash. Alfonso is possibly the most popular male manager in ECW history, while Francine, the aptly nicknamed "Queen of Extreme", had been on top on the women's side of the squared circle's perimeter for many years. Kash, who came into ECW late into the company's run, gained a following very quickly and has been a big part of TNA since its debut.
Tickets for Hardcore Homecoming, which takes place on Friday, June 10, will go on sale at the show's website this Friday.
