Hardcore Homecoming main event signed
By JON WALDMAN -- SLAM! Wrestling

A mere week after announcing the initial participants for Hardcore Homecoming, orgainzers have released more information about the Extreme Championship Wrestling tribute card, including the main event.

Sabu, Shane Douglas and Terry Funk will be recreating one of the most famous three-way dances in ECW's history at the independent show, which takes place in the famed ECW Arena (also known as Viking Hall) on Friday, June 10th. The original bout between the three former ECW Heavyweight Champions went to a 60-minute draw.

"This match is the one that started it all, and there is only one building that it can take place... the arena in Philadelphia. We will cross the line one more time," said Shane Douglas in a release.

Along with the main event signing, Hardcore Homecoming has also announced that Tod Gordon, the founder of Eastern Championship Wrestling, Extreme Championship Wrestling's predecessor, has been, as stated in a release, "brought on board," for the event. Details of Gordon's participation are unknown at this time.

Also announced is that there will be a post-event party and autograph session.

Tickets for Hardcore Homecoming will go on sale Friday, April 15 through the event's website.
