Talent leaving TNA
By JASON CLEVETT -- SLAM! Wrestling

Alex Shelley
Former X-Division champion Frankie Kazarian gave his notice to TNA officials yesterday, while Alex Shelley, who hasn't been used in months, announced on his livejournal today that he had requested his release.

According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider.com, rumors are floating around that Kazarian may have a WWE offer on the table, as WWE has been looking for cruiserweight talent to add to their roster. Kazarian is a regular on the West Coast independent scene and a regular in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. Most recently he has been in a successful tag team with Michael Shane, but the two of them lost to BG James and Racecar analyst Jeff Hammond at Sunday's "Against All Odds" Pay Per View.

Alex Shelley hasn't been seen in TNA since their debut "Victory Road" Pay Per View where he participated in an x-division gauntlet match. Dubbed "The Baby Bear" in TNA he was teamed with Abyss and Goldilocks. He wrote "I'll have an update on that soon, along with some details of why I'm not there. For everyone that's interested, I asked for my release in early January, but for whatever reason, have yet to recieve it." Shelley also announced he will be heading to Zero One in Japan for a month. Shelley is one of the top stars in Ring of Honor and until recently part of the "Generation Next" stable.

Johnson also reported on his site that Walt Wilson, who was VP of Marketing, has left the company and is being replaced by Jennifer Switzer.
