Canadian WWE DVD dates announced

World Wrestling Entertainment has announced the Canadian release dates for
upcoming DVD/VHS releases, and from the looks of the roster, it's going to be
a very hot summer for the Stamford, CT-based company.
July 13 will be a particularly busy day for compilation DVD fans, as two releases
are scheduled, including the WWE Hall of Fame two-disc/two-tape set, as well
as the WWE Divas: South of the Border.
The WWE Hall of Fame DVD includes footage from the ceremony, as well as several
extras for each inductee. Highlighted matches include "Superstar"
Billy Graham vs. Bruno Sammartino, Big John Studd vs. Andre the Giant, Sgt.
Slaughter vs. Pat Patterson, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine vs. Tito
Santana, Junkyard Dog vs. Harley Race, Don Muraco vs. Pedro Morales and Jesse
Ventura vs. Bob Backlund.
WWE Divas: South of the Border includes footage of the hottest women in the
'Fed in Mexico, along with more than two hours of extras. These extras include
10 mathches, six photo shoots, various Confidential stories and a look at the
video from the "Stratus Cam" and others.
Later on in the summer, one of the more anticipated recordings will be released,
as Chris Benoit's double-DVD will be released on August 10th. The DVD will chronicle
Benoit's career from his days in Japan as Pegasus Kid through his title victory
at Wrestlemania XX. Along the way are several rare and exciting matches, including
bouts again Jushin "Thunder" Lyger, Eddy Guererro, Kurt Angle, and
Bret Hart among others.
Also set to hit the Canadian market this summer will be various pay-per-view
DVDs, including No Way Out, Backlash, Judgment Day and Bad Blood.
