News on WWE spring DVD releases
By JON WALDMAN - SLAM! Wrestling

Today is a day that Canadian WWE fans have circled on their calendars, as two major releases hit storeshelves; but they should grab their markers again, as more WWE DVD street dates have been announced.

Today marks the much anticipated releases of John Cena's "Word Life" DVD, as well as the Royal Rumble. The Cena DVD includes a biography portion, raps and matches against Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit and Brock Lesnar. The Royal Rumble DVD is highlighted by Benoit's victory in the 30-man over-the-top-rope match and Triple H versus Shawn Michaels in a Last Man Standing match. Also included on the recording are interviews and other extras.

KOCH Canada has announced that the DVD for Wrestlemania XX will be released on May 25th. The recording, as KOCH's Eric Alper told SLAM! Wrestling, will be a three-disc set. Along with the pay-per-view event, which saw Chris Benoit win his first WWE world title, the box set also has the "Mania of Wrestlemania" documentary that was shown on UPN and the "Wrestlemania's 10 Greatest Matches" that aired on Spike TV. Also included in the release are exclusive interviews.

Also announced is WWE No Way Out, which is set to hit stores June 15. The recording includes the pay-per-view, as well as interviews, the Rey Mysterio "Crossing Borders" video and "making-of" mini-documentary, and footage from Sunday Night Heat, including Paul London/Billy Kidman/Ultimo Dragon vs. Tajiri/Akio/Sakoda.
