Benoit's night ... unless Triple H has his way
By TIM BAINES -- Ottawa Sun

Wrestlemania is a night where stars are made.

The Super Bowl of wrestling. Okay, okay ... so the results are pre-determined, it's still hard not to get excited about tonight's star-studded extravaganza that is Wrestlemania XX at Madison Square Garden. The five-hour pay-per-view kicks off at 7 p.m., with Canadian Chris Benoit perhaps the star of the show.

Here are my predictions:

Benoit wins the world title in a Triple Threat match against champ Triple H and Shawn Michaels. Michaels may help Benoit win. And if Triple H wins ... well, that's just a crying shame.

Eddie Guerrero will likely lose his title to Kurt Angle.

Brock Lesnar vs. Bill Goldberg. A double count out with special ref Stone Cold Steve Austin getting involved? Lesnar stunned the wrestling world this past week when he announced he was leaving WWE, perhaps to pursue a football career. It's been reported that Goldberg may not be around much longer either. Look for Austin to take a prominent role.

The Rock and Mick Foley should find a way to beat Evolution.

The Undertaker returns from the dead to battle Kane. Look for the man from the dark side to prevail.

Chris Jericho might lose his match against ex-friend Christian. Look for a hook, perhaps Trish Stratus costing her boyfriend Jericho the match. If Edge was to show up, that could swing the match in Jericho's favour.

John Cena should take the U.S. title from The Big Show.

Chavo Guerrero should keep his title in the cruiserweight open.

The Dudley Boyz could win their Fatal Four Way match for the world tag-team titles against Booker T and Rob Van Dam, Mark Jindrak and Garrison Cade and La Resistance.

The World's Greatest Tag Team could win their Fatal Four Way match for the WWE tag titles vs. Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty, The APA and The Basham Brothers.

Molly Holly will be shaved bald if she loses to WWE women's champ Victoria ... and that could be the result. Don't count out some form of interference saving Molly.

Stacy Keibler and Miss Jackie could defeat Playmates Torrie Wilson and Sable in a Playboy Evening Gown match.
