Cancer claims '70s wrestler Joey Rossi

He had battled lung cancer for some time, and a benefit concert was held
for him in May 2003, to raise funds for alternative therapy.
His father, Len Rossi, has been announced as a recipient of the 2004 New
York State Award from the Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame in Schenectady, NY.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Hickory
Chapel at Woodbine Funeral Home in Nolensville. Visitation will be from
4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Nolensville
Cemetery.
He is survived by his father, his wife, Wanda LeMay Rositano; sons,
Joseph Leonard Rositano and Michael Richard Rositano; a daughter, Alexis
Rositano, all of Nolensville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Nolensville United Methodist
Church Steeple Fund.
