Tribute show for Hawk set
|

|
The Road Warriors, Hawk and Animal, were scheduled for the main event of
a major show near Flint, Michigan on November 1st, battling old
adversaries the Powers of Pain. Instead, the promotion is turning the
show into a tribute show for Hawk (Michael Hegstrand), who passed away
Sunday. Road Warrior Animal (Joe Laurinaitis) is completely behind the tribute
show, and will be signing free autographs.
Promoter Steve Rau is also in the process of inviting Hawk's family to
the event, which includes a card show during the day, and a wrestling
show at night. A 10-bell salute and a video tribute are planned for Hawk
during the card. On Sunday, a special breakfast will be held, with the
monies raised going to Hawk's family.
The event is at the Birch Run Expo Center, which is on I-75 in Michigan,
about half-way between Saginaw and Flint. Other stars scheduled for the
show are the Rock & Roll Express, Malia Hosaka, Luna, Vampire Warrior,
Balls Mahoney, King Kong Bundy, 'Mouth of the South' Jimmy Hart,
'Superfly' Jimmy Snuka, Greg 'The Hammer' Valentine.
More information on the changed lineup and tribute show will be
available shortly on their website, legendsentertainment.net.
