The Apocalypse Wrestling Federation has decided it can\'t win a bout against SARS,
and the Toronto-based promotion has cancelled its show scheduled for Sunday, May 25.
According to a press release from the AWF, several non-ring personnel co-incidentally visited someone at North York General Hospital during the period of the current
SARS alert. City of Toronto Health officials have advised that anyone who
visited North York General Hospital during this period should
voluntarily quarantine themselves for 10 days.
\"It is with the health and safety of our perfomers, our fans and
their friends and loved ones foremost on our minds that we regret
that this Sunday\'s show has been cancelled,\" read the press release. The show was scheduled for the Birchmount bar and restaurant in Scarborough.
The SARS virus has reappeared at two Toronto hospitals, and officals have said that this round the virus is \"institutionalized\" in the facilities.
