Howard Finkle started the show about announcing that \"Stone Cold\" Steve
Austin reinstated The Dudley Boyz. The arena was between 2/3 and 3/4 full.
Almost everything got a reaction from the wild fans.
Spike Dudley defeated Steven Richards. After the match, Steven and Rico
pounded Spike until The Dudley Boyz made the save. The Dudley Boyz then
challenged Rico and 3 Minute Warning to a handicap match.
The Dudley Boyz defeated Rico and 3 Minute Warning. Throughout the match,
fans chanted \"We Want Tables\" and \"Rico Is Gay\". After Rico received a
flying headbutt to the groin, he held his pants open and talked to his male
parts. Bubba Ray possibly suffered some kind of injury, either to his wrist
or stomach, as he appeared to be in a lot of pain following the match.
Rodney Mack defeated Tommy Dreamer. The fans did not care about the match at
all and even chanted \"boring\" while Mack made his entrance. Teddy Long did
his normal pre-match rant and interfered a lot.
La Resistance defeated Maven and The Hurricane. Whomever designed La
Resistance\'s ring attire needs to be fired immediately. The tights were
black with yellow stripes down the sides and red, white & blue ribbons along
the top. Before the match, La Resistance cut a promo in french until they
remembered that Ontario is part of english-speaking Canada.
Jazz defeated Trish Stratus, Victoria and Jacqueline in a 4 Corners Match to
retain the WWE Women\'s Title. Surprisingly, Victoria got a huge face pop
when she entered the arena. The match was short, which the fans did not
like.
During the intermission, 2 of the referees signed autographs and
posed for photos at ringside.
Rob Van Dam and Kane defeated Chief Morley and Lance Storm to retain the
World Tag Team Titles. Fans chanted \"RVD\" many times throughout the match.
At one point, Lance tagged out as Kane entered the ring and Morley looked
angry about having to face Kane. Unlike when Nitro was held in Kitchener a
few years ago, the fans did not pop for Lance, who went to college in
Kitchener.
Scott Steiner defeated Christian. Prior to the match, a posedown ensued and
Christian fell while trying to climb the ropes. The fans did not care that
he is Canadian and booed him.
Test defeated Chris Jericho in a Street Fight. A huge pop welcomed Jericho
when he entered the arena, but turned into booing as soon as he opened his
mouth. After watching Jericho shout at fans and pose for several minutes,
Test surprised everyone by dropping his tights and mooning Jericho. The
match went all over the building, including to a part of the arena where the
floor was not cover. Jericho took the bare back bump on the ice, then fell
again when he tried to stand up. Christian interfered, but was not a factor
in the outcome of the match. Stacy Keibler helped Test win by causing
distractions. After the match, Jericho said that he will never return to
Kitchener and insulted the
Toronto Maple Leafs.
