TNA: Sabu, Jarrett clip Raven's wings
By DONNIE ABREU - SLAM! Wrestling

Jarrett and Raven get set to bring the house down.

Sabu took out Raven and all of Team Extreme before exiting through the crowd. His entrance wasn't exactly smooth as he was still crawling into the ring when the lights came up and then when he left, he appeared to injure a fan when he leapt over the security rail.

Raven recovered and then continued to beat on Jarrett. After failing to pin the champ he decided to take the handcuffs off. DDT by the challenger, but Jeff rolled a shoulder. Raven went for a third DDT, but had it reversed into a Stroke! JARRETT WINS!

I must say, that isn't what I expected. Fans all over have expressed frustration and were hot for a title switch. Already comparisons to Triple H are being made. Truth is, this was the best decision for the company at this time. Raven will get his rematch, and no one lost any steam in this match. His time will come.

This was the best match Jarrett has had in years. Congratulations to him!

WINNER: Jeff Jarrett

Another terrific show that (IN MY OPINION) lived up to all the hype.
