Eugenie Bouchard smiles down at you from everywhere at Uniprix Stadium, where on Tuesday the Canadian sensation plays her first match of the Rogers Cup.

On Monday, the 20-year-old star could only be seen on posters, yet Genie Mania sparked a rush to the box office days before she was even scheduled to play a match.

Nearly 11,000 fans packed centre court on Saturday just to watch Bouchard practise.

"The pressure is certainly different here," she told reporters afterward. "Montreal fans are very intense. They even cheer me on during workouts, as if I was playing a match."

More than 40,000 fans flocked to Uniprix Stadium from Friday to Sunday.

Organizers tell QMI Agency that if the rush continues, fans will break the all-time attendance record of 174,706, which was set in 2006.
