Wozniacki, Goerges to meet for Stuttgart title
By Sports Network

Stuttgart, Germany - Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark and Germany's Julia Goerges were semifinal winners Saturday and will meet for the title of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix.

Goerges was the first to advance with a 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 upset of fifth-seeded Samantha Stosur of Australia. Wozniacki followed with a 7-5, 6-3 triumph over Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska.

Wozniacki, who has yet to drop a set this week, will be trying for her fourth title of 2011 and her second in as many events. She won in Dubai back in February before capturing the Indian Wells event in March, then two weeks ago claimed the Family Circle Cup crown in South Carolina.

The world's top-ranked player is 15-9 all-time in WTA finals, while her opponent Sunday is just 1-1 in title matches.

Goerges reached two finals last year, beating Timea Bacsinszky last July in Bad Gastein before losing to Roberta Vinci in October in Luxembourg. Her best previous finish this year was a semifinal loss to Greta Arn at the Australian Open tuneup in Auckland.

Wozniacki won each of the two previous meetings against Goerges -- a 6-3, 6-1 rout in the second round of the 2010 Australian Open and a 3-6, 6-0, 7-6 (7-3) triumph in the quarterfinals of last year's Copenhagen event.

Sunday's champion will collect a first prize of $111,000.
