MEMPHIS -- Sixth-seeded Canadian Rebecca Marino will play Slovakian Magdalena Rybarikova in Saturday's women's final at the $220,000 Cellular South Cup tennis event.
Marino earned a 6-7 (1-7), 6-4, 6-1 triumph over Russian Evgeniya Rodina in one semifinal Friday, while Rybarikova outlasted fellow non-seed Lucie Hradecka of the Czech Republic 6-2, 4-6, 6-4 on the indoor hardcourts at The Racquet Club of Memphis.
The 22-year-old Rybarikova will appear in her second career WTA final, with the other one resulting in a title in Birmingham, England two years ago.
Marino will participate in her first career championship match.
The 2011 Memphis champ will collect $37,000.
