Top-seeded Belarusian Max Mirnyi and Canadian Daniel Nestor won their second consecutive French Open doubles title by defeating American twin Bryan bothers, Bob and Mike, on Saturday.
Mirnyi and Nestor beat the American tandem by a 6-4, 6-4 margin.
The 34-year-old Mirnyi also won back-to-back titles in Paris in 2005-2006 with Jonas Bjorkman. Mirnyi is a six-time Grand Slam doubles champ, while the 39-year-old Nestor is an eight-time major doubles winner.
The 34-year-old reigning Wimbledon champion Bryan brothers own 11 Grand Slam doubles titles overall, including a 2003 French championship. They have also finished as the runner-up in Paris on three occasions now and were the runners-up at this year's Australian Open.
Mirnyi and Nestor will split $425,000.
