Canada's Fed Cup team is off to the World Group playoffs after beating Serbia 3-1 in Montreal Sunday.

No. 19-ranked Eugenie Bouchard, of Westmount, Que., was dominating in her victory over Vesna Dolonc, downing the Serbian 6-0, 6-3 at Claude Robillard Sports Complex.

"I played two solid matches this weekend and I am happy that I was able to help the team win," Bouchard said. "I love playing for my country, I am very patriotic. Now we are focused on getting ready for April."

Canada was up 2-0 entering Sunday's action after Bouchard scored a 6-1, 6-0, straight-sets victory over Jovana Jaksic, while Aleksandra Wozniak, of Blainville, Que., took the long route to dispatch Dolonc 7-5, 2-6, 6-4 in two hours 31 minutes.

Jaksic and Nina Stojanovic won the doubles rubber 2-6, 6-3, 10-8 over Ottawa's Gabriela Dabrowski and Toronto's Sharon Fichman. A singles match between Wozniak and Jaksic was not contested.

Canada is scheduled to play in the World Group playoffs on April 19 and 20. A draw will be held Tuesday to determine their opponent.
