Canada will put its best foot forward for its 2013 Davis Cup world group semifinal next weekend.
The top men's tennis players in the country have confirmed their attendance for the event, Tennis Canada announced Tuesday. The event runs Sept. 13-15 in Belgrade, Serbia.
World No. 11 Milos Raonic of Thornhill, Ont., will be joined by Vasek Pospisil of Vernon, B.C., Frank Dancevic of Niagara Falls, Ont., and Toronto's Daniel Nestor.
Serbia is countering with world No. 1 Novak Djokovic, Nenad Zimonjic, Janko Tipsarevic, and Dusan Lajovic.
"We made it here to the final four on the strength of our team and we are bringing the same guys to Belgrade to try and keep this run going," said Marty Laurendeau, captain of Canada's Davis Cup squad.
"They all have five more months of experience under their belts and are going to take to the courts ready to fight for that spot in the final."
Raonic, Canada's unquestioned leader, has won all four of his Davis Cup singles matches this year.
The winner of the Canada-Serbia semifinal will face off in November against either the Czech Republic or Argentina.
