Milos Raonic is one win away from claiming his sixth ATP title.

With his trademark serve in fine form, world No. 7 Raonic sent American Donald Young packing Friday at the Citi Open in Washington, D.C.

The Thornhill, Ont., native recorded 15 aces to Young’s three en route to a 6-4, 7-5 victory in the semfinal showdown.

Earlier in the day, Vernon, B.C.’s Vasek Pospisil advanced to the other semifinal. He defeated Santiago Giraldo 6-7 (4), 6-3, 6-4.

On Sunday, Pospisil will meet No. 14 Richard Gasquet of France.

The winner faces Raonic in the tournament’s championship match.
