No sugar-coating this one: Milos Raonic got creamed by Rafael Nadal.

After rain delayed their match for four hours Saturday, Nadal tossed aside the Thornhill, Ont., native 6-4, 6-0 en route to a berth in the final at the Barcelona Open.

But the former world No. 1 was graceful in victory.

I think it was my best match of the whole week, Nadal told the ATP Tour website. (Raonic) played a fantastic second game on the return. I won the third game, which was very important for the match, because if you are three-love down against a big server like Milos, youre in big trouble.

After falling behind an early break, Nadal stepped up take over the first set. In the second set, Nadal broke Raonic three times, winning 63% of his return points.

Nadal now has a 3-0 record against Raonic.

Nadal will meet Nicolas Almagro in the final after the fellow Spaniard defeated Philipp Kohlschreiber in Saturday's other semifinal.
