Ottawa's Levine always wanted to play for Canada
By TIM BAINES, QMI Agency
OTTAWA - Jesse Levine hasn't forgotten Ottawa or Canada.
The 25-year-old professional tennis player, who will have the Canadian flag beside his name for the first time at an ATP World Tour event when he plays in the Australian Open Jan. 14-27, is quite fond of Ottawa. He spent the first 13 years of his life here, learning tennis at the Ottawa Athletic Club before moving to Florida.
Levine, a left-hander who trained with Roger Federer and has locked horns with the likes of Rafael Nadal on the court, remains a Senators fan.
