Canadian Milos Raonic moved into the quarterfinals the SAP Open in San Jose, an ATP 250 event that he won last year.

Seeded third in the tournament, Raonic defeated Germany's Tobias Kamke 6-2, 7-6 (7) in the second round late Wednesday night. The Thornhill, Ont., native hit 18 aces and won in 85 minutes.

Raonic will face sixth-seeded South African Kevin Anderson in the quarter-finals Friday. Anderson beat and Matthew Ebden of Australia 6-1, 6-2 in 66 minutes Thursday.
