Dodig wins Zagreb crown
By Sports Network

Zagreb, Croatia - Croat Ivan Dodig delighted the home crowd, beating eighth-seeded German Michael Berrer 6-3, 6-4 in Sunday's final at the $610,000 Zagreb indoors tennis event.

The 84th-ranked Dodig took out four seeded players en route to capturing his first singles title. He had never reached a semifinal of an ATP event prior to this week.

The outcome was all too familiar for Berrer, who lost to Marin Cilic in last year's Zagreb finale.

Sunday's match marked the sixth straight year a Croat reached the final here.

Do you think it's a good idea for the U.S. Open to hold the men's final on a Monday?
