Djokovic out of Rotterdam event
By Sports Network

ROTTERDAM, The Netherlands -- Australian Open champion Novak Djokovic will miss next week ATP event in Rotterdam, citing a shoulder injury.

The world No. 3 star Djokovic would have been the top seed at Ahoy Stadium. Two-time French Open runner-up and reigning Rotterdam champion Robin Soderling will take the Serb's spot atop of the draw. The world No. 4 Soderling beat Russian Mikhail Youzhny in last year's Rotterdam finale and was the runner-up in 2008.

Djokovic whipped British star Andy Murray in Sunday's finale at the Aussie Open. The fifth-ranked 2009 Rotterdam champion Murray will join Soderling in next week's field.

Do you think it's a good idea for the U.S. Open to hold the men's final on a Monday?
