LONDON -- Rafael Nadal posted a straight-set victory over Tomas Berdych to advance to the semifinals at the ATP World Tour Finals on Friday.

The top-seeded Nadal earned a 7-6 (7-3), 6-1 victory in his final round-robin match to win Group A with a perfect 3-0 mark. He will face fifth-seeded Andy Murray in Saturday's semifinals, as Murray finished second in Group B.

Berdych was eliminated with the loss, leaving the last semifinal berth up for grabs between Novak Djokovic and Andy Roddick.

Roddick, despite losing each of his first two round-robin matches against Berdych and Nadal, can still earn a semifinal berth if he beats Djokovic in straight sets. Djokovic will take the last spot in the semis if he just wins one set in Friday's late match.

Roger Federer, the winner of Group A and a four-time champion of this event, awaits either Djokovic or Roddick in the semifinals.

Nadal's victory on Friday gave him a 9-3 mark against Berdych, including eight straight wins over the past four seasons. The super Spaniard hasn't even lost a set during the winning streak, which includes a 6-3, 7-5, 6-4 triumph in the Wimbledon final earlier this year.
