LONDON -- Second-seeded Roger Federer thumped Robin Soderling on Thursday to finish Group B play unblemished at the ATP World Tour Finals.

Federer took down Sweden's Soderling 7-6 (7-5), 6-3 to complete round-robin play without losing a set.

The super Swiss won 81 percent of his first-serve points and fired 11 aces to improve to 15-1 in his career against Soderling, with the only loss coming in the quarterfinals in this year's French Open.

Federer, a four-time winner at this event, now moves on to the semifinals on Saturday. The other semifinalist from Group B will be determined in Thursday's other match between Andy Murray and David Ferrer.
