MANAUS, Brazil -- Uruguay's Luis Suarez continues to do what he does better than any footballer world wide: Bite his opponents.

The Liverpool striker, coming off a brace against England last week, appeared to bite Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini in a Group D decider Tuesday in Natal.

After referee Marco Rodriguez issued Italy's Claudio Marchisio a red card midway through the second half, the Mexican failed to see Suarez chomp down on Chiellini's shoulder after the late-game play.

Furious at the incident, Chiellini ran after Rodriguez to show him the bite marks to no avail.

Uruguay's Diego Godin scored minutes later off a corner for the 1-0 win.

Suarez is no stranger to these Mike Tyson-like incidents.

While playing for Liverpool last year, Suarez bit Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic, an incident that garnered him a 10-game ban.
