It’s very easy to get excited when your team scores in the World Cup, especially a tying goal against Italy.
And then there’s England’s physio guy Gary Lewin who celebrated Daniel Sturridge’s tying goal against Italy so hard that he dislocated his ankle.
Lewin was jumping for joy with the rest of England’s coaching staff after the 1-1 equalizer in the 37th minute, but awkwardly stepped on a water bottle, and had to be stretchered off the sidelines.
During the live broadcast Lewin was surrounded by medical staff and coaches, leaving it hard to tell who exactly was on the ground injured.
But once fans realized it was a trainer, the mood changed.
