You call this 'chaotic,' TFC fans?

TORONTO - Headlines this week indicated TFC was a team in “chaos” following an abrupt coaching change.

It was akin to what another news outlet ran back in 2012, describing Toronto FC as a club “in disarray” after it started the 2012 season with nine consecutive losses.

Ask yourself: How does 2014 compare?

For one, the Reds remain inside the playoff picture with multiple games in hand.

Sounds “chaotic,” doesn’t it?

Get the point?

Now then, that’s not to say the Reds aren’t embattled. They are.

More than anything else, injuries to Steven Caldwell, Justin Morrow and Jermain Defoe have hurt matters. The Reds looked like a squad without an identity last Saturday in a bad loss to the New England Revolution, the final match of Ryan Nelsen’s TFC tenure.
