TORONTO - No doubt Toronto FC fans were seeing red long before they actually got to see their Reds on Wednesday night at BMO Field.

Just getting to the MLS match against the visiting Vancouver Whitecaps was a nightmare, with all the construction and road closures around Exhibition Place and most of the parking lots closed because of this weekend’s Indy races. It was so bad that the stadium announcer actually thanked the 22,591 fans on hand for braving the traffic chaos.

The Reds rewarded them with an organized and spirited effort against the Whitecaps though, in the end, Toronto had to settle for a 1-1 draw, despite controlling most of the play and creating the majority of the scoring chances.
