Toronto FC hasn’t won an MLS match since June 7, yet there was a feeling around the practice pitch on Friday that the Reds are on the verge of something big, something special.

With Michael Bradley back from the World Cup (though he is questionable for the Houston Dynamo game at BMO Field on Saturday night), Gilberto again healthy and seemingly ready to break out, Jermain Defoe still rolling and newcomers like Collen Warner and Luke Moore poised to contribute in a significant way, the Reds feel they’re just starting to hit their stride as a team.
