TORONOT - With the World Cup inching ever closer, Jermain Defoe continues to remind England that it might have made a large mistake leaving him off of its squad.

TFC's star striker scored twice on Saturday afternoon, both times rallying the Reds from a deficit and Brampton's Doneil Henry scored on a header in stoppage time as the Reds stormed back for a 3-2 win over the rival Columbus Crew in a thrilling match.

Toronto captured the Trillium Cup, after earlier defeating the Crew 2-0 in Columbus.

The second half had been dull until Columbus took its second lead of the game, but the Reds poured it on from there, coming at the Crew in waves in what turned out to be one of the more memorable games in franchise history because of the comeback.
