TORONTO - The Toronto Sun has learned that Brazilian international goalkeeper Julio Cesar is set to join Toronto FC on loan.

Toronto FC head coach Ryan Nelsen lured his former teammate away from Queens Park Rangers as the 34-year-old is said to be in search of playing time ahead the upcoming World Cup.

The 6-foot-1 keeper has appeared close to 80 times for Brazil since 2002 and is expected to be included in Brazil’s roster come the summer.
