There’s room for two Orr’s at MLSE.

And like Toronto Maple Leafs bruiser, Colton, new TFC signing Bradley Orr brings a bit of truculence, the kind of signing former Leafs general manager Brian Burke would be proud of.

After multiple English outlets reported Orr’s immanent BMO Field arrival late last week, the Toronto Sun confirmed Monday that the English defender will join TFC on loan from Blackburn ahead of the 2014 MLS season.

The loan deal is believed to be for one year, and includes the option to extend Orr’s MLS stay.

In an off-season filled with offensive thrills — Jermain Defoe, Michael Bradley, Dwayne De Rosario, among others — TFC is attempting to bulk up its back four with a hard-as-nails English fullback, who happens to come with a record — and a reputation.

Eight year ago Orr and two Bristol City teammates received month-long jail sentences in what The Guardian (U.K.) described as a “booze-fuelled” bar fight.
