Dwayne De Rosario is coming home.

Toronto FC picked up the club’s all-time leading scorer in the MLS re-entry draft Wednesday, bringing De Rosario back after a three-year absence.

After having his option declined by D.C. United this off-season, the Canadian international was up for grabs this week as teams looked to bulk up their rosters with out-of-contract players.

The 35-year-old De Rosario, originally from Scarborough, Ont., was was traded away at the start of the 2011 season after falling out of favour with the club’s front office.
