TORONTO - Canada’s men’s national team has never been worse, according to last month’s FIFA World Rankings.

At No. 106, a spot below war-torn Iraq, Canada’s international record dropped to an embarrassing low late last year when it fell 8-1 in Honduras, bowing out of World Cup qualifying, setting off alarm bells across the Canadian soccer community.

The team hasn’t won since, going winless in 10 international fixtures, scoring once along the way.
