Toronto FC is following up one of the longest winless runs in MLS history (15 games) with another one of the longest winless runs in league history.

Saturday night’s 2-0 loss to the New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium pushed TFC’s current winless run to 10 games.

Beyond the numbers, though, it’s how the Reds are going about their business.

During Saturday’s rain-soaked display, Toronto didn’t look like scoring, or holding possession anywhere within 50 metres from goal.

To sum it up, it was a performance that brought back not-so-distant memories of past seasons, campaigns that saw the Reds wilt from start to finish and barely put up a fight before being resigned to losing again and again and again.

It took less than a half-hour against the Revolution.
