Toronto FC is a club that’s “deceptively good at a lot of things” but doesn’t “scare (opposing teams) tremendously.”

Based on his comments, Philadelphia Union head coach John Hackworth — like most pundits through the first two months of the season — isn’t mulling over multiple scouting reports or going in-depth on how TFC has managed to garner a few solid results.

Still, Hackworth captured what everyone’s been thinking about where TFC stands heading into Saturday’s match at PPL Park with a simple sentence: “They seem to be able to take advantage of opposing teams when you least expect it,” he said.
