Toronto FC head coach Ryan Nelsen announces QPR exit
Says he'll join TFC sideline full-time beginning Feb. 1

Toronto FC head coach Ryan Nelsen addresses the media at the club's Downsview training facility on Tuesday in Toronto.

TORONTO - Toronto FC’s All Fools’ Day arrived two months early on Tuesday when it was revealed head coach and current Queens Park Rangers captain Ryan Nelsen will join the Reds full-time beginning Feb. 1.

Two weeks after replacing former TFC bench boss Paul Mariner as the club’s eighth manager, Nelsen explained earlier claims that had him staying in England until QPR’s season ends in May.

“I tried to drop a few hints in the media when we last spoke but I don’t think very many people picked it up,” Nelsen said after confirming his last English Premier League match will be at home to Manchester City next Tuesday.

Do you think the officiating has been fair in the Kings-Sharks series?
  Yes
