In its most intimidating opening to a Major League Soccer campaign yet, Toronto FC learned of its 34-game regular season schedule Wednesday afternoon when the league released its entire 2013 slate.

After opening the season against the Whitecaps in Vancouver on March 2, the Reds host defending Eastern Conference champion Sporting KC – possibly at the Rogers Centre – a week later.

Toronto then travels to Olympic Stadium to face the Montreal Impact on March 16 before returning to BMO Field to host the defending MLS Cup champion L.A. Galaxy on March 30.

Week 3 of the MLS regular season will see a rivalry week with eight of nine matches featuring some of the league’s biggest derbies, including New York Red Bulls-DC United, Seattle Sounders-Portland Timbers, and Sporting KC-Chicago Fire.

The Vancouver Canucks should replace ex-coach Alain Vigneault with...
  Guy Boucher.
  Lindy Ruff.
  Andy Murray.
  Jacques Martin.
  Brent Sutter.
  Don Hay.
  Other.
