TORONTO - A chapter in Aron Winter’s bestseller will need to be rewritten after Toronto FC picked up veteran centre back Danny Califf in Stage 2 of Friday’s re-entry draft.

Toronto’s former bench boss told reporters amid an eight-game losing skid last season the Reds had lost out on signing Califf, who asked to be traded to Chivas USA from the Philadelphia Union when given the option to come to Toronto last season.
