A whole season's worth of work for Toronto FC to make the playoffs has come down to 270 minutes of soccer.

Anything less than the full nine points from TFC's remaining three matches will likely make the Reds into postseason bystanders for the third consecutive year, and every single player is willing to do anything to avoid that fate.

"(Today) is the most important game of the season for us," midfielder Julian de Guzman told MLS.net writer Mark Polishuk.

"I'm prepared and ready to do anything that the coach or the team needs, whether it's a defensive role or an attacking role."

TFC enters today's match with the San Jose Earthquakes on the outside looking in at the MLS Cup Playoffs field. The Reds have 35 points, 11th overall in the league but only three points behind eight-place New England.
