The shine for this summer's exhibition game between Toronto FC and world power Real Madrid grew brighter with the chance that Cristiano Ronaldo could be at BMO Field on Aug. 7.

The Portuguese star's record transfer from Manchester United for $145.2 million to Real could put him in the lineup as the Spaniards are obligated to play their best men for at least part of the game.

But Toronto FC officials aren't guaranteeing he'll be in a starring role as Real is also playing in Washington.

Asked yesterday if they will turn a profit on the game, with it costing more than $1 million to lure Madrid and $250,000 to install real grass, TFC officials said if every seat is sold (between $125 and $215) they would make a small amount.
