FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Steve Ralston scored once in each half to lead the New England Revolution to a 2-1 win over Toronto FC last night.

Ralston banged in a rebound off Adam Cristman's header in the 12th minute. He followed up Kheli Dube's drive off the Toronto crossbar in the 59th minute.

The Eastern Conference-leading Revolution improved to 9-4-3. Toronto fell to 6-4-3.

Ralston has scored five goals over the past five matches and leads the team with six goals this season.

New England's Shalrie Joseph headed the ball into his own goal in the 78th minute to foil goalie Matt Reis' bid for a sixth shutout.

Toronto FC is back in action on Tuesday with a home game against the Vancouver Whitecaps in the Nutrilite Canadian Championship.
