The Sun's footie pundits offer their picks for Wednesday's games.

MORRIS DALLA COSTA

Portugal 1, Denmark 0 -- The Portuguese need to play a full game. If they do, they will beat a tough Denmark team that is pumped after beating the Netherlands. But Denmark can't continue to sustain pressure without giving up a goal.

Germany 2, Netherlands 1 -- The Germans see an opportunity to perhaps put out one of its serious competitors for the Euro title. The Netherlands will be desperate and should play that way. It's a nice combination.

MIKE ZEISBERGER

Portugal 1, Denmark 1 -- The Danes have beaten the Portuguese three of their past four meetings, so they do have the edge. At the same time, Cristiano Ronaldo is due to come out of his scoring funk at some point in an international tournament. Then again ...

Germany 1, Netherlands 1 -- The Dutch aren't about to fold against their bitter rivals, even though they seem to be a dysfunctional lot right now. Having said that, the Germans will be up for this one, knowing that one point gets them a step closer to the quarterfinal.

DAN BILICKI

Denmark 1, Portugal 1 -- When will Cristiano Ronaldo step up for his country?

Germany 2, Netherlands 2 -- Lots of firepower and skeptical defending here.

KURTIS LARSON

Portugal 2, Denmark 1 -- The Danes were lucky to take full points in their opener, while Portugal impressed against Germany. Everyone in the Group of Death stays alive ahead of the final match day.

Netherlands 1, Germany 1 -- The Dutch played well enough to earn a share against Denmark. You'd be crazy to bet against the World Cup finalists in an elimination match.
