Madrid, Spain - Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo injured his left leg during Saturday's 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid, and could be out up to three weeks.

Ronaldo, who just returned earlier this week from injury to play against Lyon in the Champions League, left this weekend's La Liga match after 72 minutes.

The Portuguese international had inflammation on the left thigh after the game and now could miss the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals against Tottenham.

Ronaldo, who leads Real with 27 goals in league play, was sidelined earlier in the month with a muscle problem in his left leg.
