Nottingham Forest won 3-0 at high-spending Manchester City for the biggest upset in the third round of the English FA Cup yesterday.

Nathan Tyson and Rob Earnshaw had first-half goals for Forest, which plays in the League Championship. Joe Garner scored in the 75th minute for Manchester City.

"I know exactly what is needed here," City manager Mark Hughes said. "The work we do on a day-to-day basis makes players better. They have to be brave enough to perform in matches. Today some were guilty of not doing that."

THE BIG STAR
