Canada dropped to second place in its group with a 2-1 loss to Norway Thursday at the FIFA Under-20 Women's World Cup in Kobe, Japan.

The loss left Canada tied with Norway for second, three points behind group-leading North Korea, 9-0 winners over Argentina. The Canadians have a slight edge on Norway in goal differential, though.

Canada's only goal came from Jenna Richardson in the 44th minute. Sisters Andrine Hegerberg and Ada Hegerberg scored the Norwegian goals in the second half.

Canada will play North Korea in the final group game on Monday while Norway takes on winless Argentina.
