Vancouver Whitecaps dropped the Mile High Edge to sea level Saturday night.

Kara Lang scored twice to beat the Colorado visitors 3-0 in W-League soccer.

Vancouver remains the only unbeaten team in the western conference at 5-0. Mile High dropped to 3-2.

Whitecaps failed to score in the first half, despite outshooting Mile High 14-0. Lang took charge in the 56th minute when she was 10 yards out and headed Stephanie Smith's cross for her first goal of the night.

Tiffeny Milbrett made it 2-0 in the 64th minute on a 15-yard shot after receiving a pass from Christine Sinclair. Lang used her head again in the 69th minute when she converted Andrea Neil's header.

"Andrea's phenomenal when it comes to those things," Lang said. "I just had to run onto it, she did all the work."

Mile High responded with a goalkeeping switch, replacing Isabel Briomes with Erin Jarvis.

Whitecaps' goalkeeper Erin McLeod had to make only one save to register the shutout before 2,887 fans.

Lang, Sinclair, Neil and McLeod are among the players off to a national team training camp in Nanaimo and won't be available for a three-game tour of Colorado. Whitecaps' next home game is June 25.

Meanwhile, Steve Kindel's injury-time goal Friday gave Vancouver a 2-2 tie against visiting Miami FC in USL First Division men's soccer.

Brazilian great Romario scored in the 90th minute to give Miami a brief lead. Whitecaps brought home a 0-0 tie against the host Portland Timbers Saturday night.
