Vancouver Whitecaps women took home a steaming, hot triple-triple from "Starbucks City" on Saturday.

They beat Seattle Sounders Saints 3-2 for the third consecutive time in 2006.

Seattle led 1-0 after a 10th minute goal by Shuree Hyatt.

"That's when we started to pick it up and play our style of play," said goalkeeper Erin McLeod, now 20-0-4 as a Whitecap.

Tiffeny Milbrett scored on an 18-yard crossbar ricochet in the 17th minute.

Milbrett's 24th minute corner kick, flicked by Kara Lang, was headed-in by Seattle's Kelli Cronkrite for an own goal. Captain Andrea Neil's 23-yard volley in the 35th minute was the eventual winner.

"Our first half was our best half of soccer so far this year," said head coach Bob Birarda.

Seattle's Tafara Pulse had the only goal of the second half on a 52nd minute penalty kick.

Whitecaps visit San Diego Gauchos this Friday.

Whitecaps men lost their first game of the season 1-0 to the Sounders in Seattle, also on Saturday. The teams tied 2-2 on Friday at Swangard Stadium when Joey Gjertsen had both Vancouver goals.
